Phenom Table-Top SEM
The Phenom SEM is a low voltage SEM introduced by FEI in 2007. It is designed for easy operation and requires minimum maintenance.
This Table-Top SEM is equipped with a CeB6 cathode, permanent magnets for electron focusing and detectors to form an image of sample surfaces with ~30nm resolution. The touch screen feature of the interface allows users to navigate the entire sample and obtain high quality imaging at magnifications up to 20kX.
The Phenom Tabletop SEM is used mainly as an educational tool within the framework of GK-12 program at the University of Arkansas.
